Harmless Dependencies

A few small pleasures have gathered here: sweets, beads, fragments, things we keep, touch, consume or attach meaning to for no particularly good reason.

Nothing dramatic is happening. Or perhaps it has happened already. The objects hover in loose relation to one another, as if dependency could be decorative, innocent, even charming — until you notice how difficult it is to tell where affection ends and attachment begins.
